Hampton Ferry has seventy privately-owned modern holiday caravans spread across a beautiful riverside site. Open from March to December inclusive each year, this secluded and friendly site offers owners and their guests a year round retreat.

The site is situated on the Hampton side of the River Avon and cars can be parked in the private car park opposite the site accessed by crossing the Hampton Ferry,which is just a fewminutes walk away from Evesham town centre.

NONE OF OUR CARAVANS ARE ON THE FLOOD PLANE

All caravans have water, electricity and bottled gas.

There is a washing machine and tumble drier on site, and toilet block with showers.

Caravan owners are welcome to fish, launch hand held boats (subject to angling fixtures) and use the ferry without having to pay each time.

Frequently asked Questions...

Can I Live at Hampton Ferry ?
No, Hampton Ferry is a HOLIDAY caravan site not a residential site. We are open from 1st March until 1st January each year.(ie closed 2nd January - 28th/29th February).
We never stop owners from visiting their caravans during the closed season, however the water will be turned off.

How do I drive to the site ?
You don't! There is no vehicualr access to the site, which is actually one of the beauties of the site - no traffic! No revving engines, no Sunday morning car cleaners, no boy racers! (Okay, we fibbed, there is vehicular access, but it is only for use in an emergency.)

So, Where's Hampton Ferry's great list of "dos and don'ts that other caravan parks have ?
The Rules of the site - only this; all children and pets should be kept under control. Respect other peoples property and privacy and expect them to respct yours.

How much is the ground rent
?
The Annaul Ground Rent for 2010 is £1,500 (Inc vat )
Ground rent is paid in advance, invoices are issued in September and are due by 31 December.
A standing order mandate can be arranged to pay the ground rent in ten instalments (January - October), an administaration charge is added for this service.

And all the extra charges ... ?
None. The ground rent includes Rates, Ferry, Fishing fees,and car park for owners, and electricty standing charge (which we are required to make by law) and VAT. The only extra charges you need to pay are for the electricty and gas that you use. All Caravans must be insured.

What amenities does Hampton Ferry have ?
Washing Machine and Tumble Drier on site
Post Offices and grocery Shops on Hampton and Evesham sides of the river.
Separate toilet block with showers.
Raphael's Licensed Restaurant on opposite side of the river.

What about usimg the ferry ...?
The ferry operates from 9am until 8pm throughout the Summer months, during the Autumn months and in March it crosses on the hour. The ferry should never be a problem for caravan or boat owners at Hampton Ferry, if you need to cross out side of normal hours simply ask at Raphael's Restaurant or Sam and Diana at the house.

Can I bring my caravan to Hampton Ferry ?
No. All caravans placed on our site MUST be purchased through us.

Will I have to take my caravan off when it gets elderly?
No. Unlike alot of caravan sites we never ask anyone to take their caravan away because of its age.

How do I buy a caravan at Hampton Ferry ?

How do I sell a caravan at Hampton Ferry ?
If, when you decide to sell your caravan it is over fifteen years old will be considered to have no commercial value and should be removed from the site.We can arrange disposale for you for a fee.
If your caravan is between ten and fifteen years old we will pay you the book price for it and probably replace it with a new caravan. If it is under ten years old we will sell it on as a pre owned Holiday Home and take a 12.5% commission on completion of sale.
